Sun, Sea, Carefree
Together with the province of West-Flanders and a number of partners Intro is working on a project to ensure accessibility along the Belgium coast. The project started in 2006 in Middelkerke and Nieuwpoort, these were followed by Westende in 2007 and De Haan in 2008. In 2009 there will be new initiatives in Vosseslag, Oostende and Zeebrugge. This project specifically addresses the accessibility of the beach and its direct surroundings. Beach wheelchairs, beach mat and assistance are provided.
